Wystawa "Dziewczyna ugryzła się w język, została bez języka" to spotkanie Joanny Ambroz i Noemi Conan – dwóch malarek, które poprzez autoportret mierzą się z cudzym spojrzeniem, oczekiwaniami i wstydem. Dla Ambroz punktem wyjścia jest praca emocjonalna – niewidoczny, lecz wyczerpujący wysiłek polegający na regulowaniu własnych emocji zgodnie z oczekiwaniami otoczenia. Conan, zaczynając od marzenia o siostrzeństwie, tworzy obrazy pulsujące niewypowiedzianą złością i intymnością. Obie podejmują temat siebie – już nie jako źródło problemu, ale siły, ekspresji i oporu.
